Instead of talking about Trump, Biden, racism, COVID-19, the west coast burning, and the lot... I want to take the opportunity to inform my readers about something called "Fairy Tales"! In the last month, I have stepped back in time from when my mom read all sorts of fairy tales to put me down for the night. What I do not recall, is a single story read to me by Hans Christian Andersen. Of course I knew he is a famous author but WARNING! What I am about to tell you may stun you; please sit down! I did not know, "The Princess and the Pea", "The Ugly Duckling", "The Little Mermaid" were originally authored by Hans... I know... I will get all kinds of heat for this. Sure maybe I knew, but over the years lost touch with the small things that really do matter! My daughter gets to hear dad read "The Princess and the Pea" to her every night. Now I get to keep these moments with me in hopes to make sure I educate her, and remind her every so often which oldies but goodies exist that are timeless!
